In 1992 Simon Cope joined Components + Instrumentation (NZ) Ltd as one of their staff (and soon to be shareholder). Having previously installed solar electric modules when working for the Ministry Of Works & Development as an apprentice - purchasing them from this same company (unbeknown to him at the time and showing how God directs his life!), in 1994 formally created C+I Solar Ltd and focused 100% on selling solar PV to customers throughout New Zealand - both NZ commerical PV solar users and domestic NZ solar electric users throughout NZ....
